Surgeon Dr. Esra Çabuk Cömert

Esra Çabuk Cömert was born in Samsun in 1982 and completed primary and secondary school in Ünye. After completing high school education at Tekirdağ Anatolian High School, she started her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. After graduating in 2007, she managed to get into Başkent University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the same year.

In 2011, she graduated from Başkent University as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist. Between 2011-2015, she completed her compulsory service at Ankara Yenimahalle State Hospital, Diyarbakır Hani State Hospital, Yozgat State Hospital.

After working at Private HRS Hospital and Private Minasera Hospital for a while, she opened her own practice and started to serve her patients. With 14 years of experience, her service areas continued mainly in the fields of IVF and Genital Aesthetics. Again, she continues to practice in many Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries.

In addition, Esra Çabuk Cömert, who has been providing Cosmetic Gynecology trainings for the last 2 years, has provided cosmetic gynecology training to 80 local and foreign doctors. She provides general and individual trainings with a limited number of quotas.

Prof. Filiz F. Bilgin Yanık, MD

Specialist of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Specialist of Perinatology, Ankara, Turkey

She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. Obstetrics and Gynecology speciality education was between years 1988 and 1993 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She became an Associate Professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2002 and Professor at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2009. She became a Specialist of Perinatology in 2011. She worked as the Head of the Division of Perinatology at Başkent University between years 2012 and 2016. She was the President of the Directory Board of the Society of Specialists in Perinatology – Turkey, between years 2019 and 2021. She is currently in private practice and is a member of the Directory Board of Maternal Fetal Medicine and Perinatology Society of Turkey as well as a member of the Directory Board of Contraception and Reproductive Health Society of Turkey.

Assoc. Dr. Burcu Kısa

She studied at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine between 1998-2005, Assoc. Dr. Burcu Kısa received her specialization from Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in 2011.  She performed her compulsory service duty at Batman Gynecology and Childhood Hospital between 2011-2012.  She worked at Zekai Tahir Burak Gynecology and Obstetrics Training and Research Hospital between 2012-2019.  She continues to work at Medikalpark Batıkent Hospital, where she started working in 2019.

 Her areas of interest are vaginal aesthetics, pregnancy follow-up, laparoscopy, urinary incontinence, and wart treatment.

Cosmetic Gynecology is one of the most trendy topics among women lately. After childbirth or through aging naturally, many women experience changes in the appearance and function of the vaginal area. For some women, this can seriously affect their normal activities of living. Exercising, wearing tight clothes, experiencing sexual satisfaction, self-confidence and many other issues can be affected by the change in the vaginal area.

Cosmetic gynecology aims to improve the physical appearance or function of the vagina and vulva. These conditions can usually be diagnosed with a simple but comprehensive pelvic exam. All of these procedures are called “Cosmetic Gynecology”.

Cosmetic Gynecology is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the female genitalia. This training aims to train health and mental health professionals who will work as sex therapists and take part in informing society about these issues, to provide information about the problems experienced in the field of sexuality, sexual development, sexual disorders, sexual identity situations, and sexual dysfunctions.

Assistant and Specialist Training

General Cosmetic Gynecology trainings, which are held at certain times of the year and twice a year, last 3 days. While the first day of the training is spent with sharing theoretical knowledge, the second and third days are spent with bedside practice. In this training, the quota is limited to 15 people in order to meet the expectations of all participants and to have the chance to practice per patient.
